GrantHer is a project of Leela Daou and Peter Daou. Leela is a former nurse who assisted spinal cord injury and thoracic cancer patients at Mount Sinai Hospital and Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. Her husband Peter
is a strategic advisor who has worked with leading organizations and campaigns, including Hillary Clinton for President, John Kerry for President, the Clinton Global Initiative, Planned Parenthood, Action Against Hunger, and the UN Foundation.
